IF YOU WANT A DEAD DRUM THIS IS NOT FOR YOU. Engineered to keep the shell of the drum vibrant and dampen in a punchy and clear way:- keeping good ring and getting rid of the bad. IMPORTANT drummers should make sure to move it around to different spots until the sweet spot is fould. Here at the shop we feel the M100 is awesome in that it has the same footprint of our M1b- going on 9 years now!..... and weight like the #5 brass,- going on 13 years. The M100 is engineered to control the resonance without sacrificing the brightness of the drum and will look like it belongs with the chrome metal finish to match drum hardward. It also presents 100g of weight on the head (more than tape, plastic etc) which helps shorten the LOW frequency hum while keeping the drum bright and open. Remember the M100 will fit any drum size; (8",9,10,12,13,14,- for floor toms we still recommend the Snareweight M80) Dampen in a snap or disengage even faster with the on/off feature. If you want a dead drum, this one is NOT for you. Works with triple flange hoops, die cast, angel hoops, true hoops, brass hoops, and 1/4" wood.
